又生气了！特朗普嫉妒福奇支持率高：为什么没人喜欢我？美国大部分没有病毒！

根据美国约翰斯·霍普金斯大学最新统计数据，截至北京时间7月29日下午4时30分，美国新冠肺炎确诊病例达4,352,084例，死亡病例达 149,258例。

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the U.S. hit 4,352,084, with 149,258 deaths, as of 4:30 p.m. BJT on Wednesday, according to the latest statistics from Johns Hopkins University.

美国总统唐纳德·特朗普（Donald Trump）为了重振连任希望，前几日大改先前谈论疫情的语调，不但坚称信奉科学，还终于呼吁大众戴上口罩。

但没过几天，又破功了…

美国当地时间7月28日，据美国《国会山报》（The Hill）报道，特朗普总统在当天的白宫新闻发布会上表示很委屈，明明他在处理新冠肺炎疫情方面做得那么好，但为什么美国国家过敏症和传染病研究所所长安东尼·福奇（Anthony Fauci）的公众支持率会比他高。

在白宫新闻发布会前一天，特朗普转发了一则推文，称福奇误导了公众。但在新闻发布会上，当被问及这个问题的时候，特朗普表示他和福奇的关系很好，同意福奇的大部分观点。

The Hill reported on Tuesday that U.S. President Donald Trump questioned during a White House press conference as to why his public approval rating was lower than that of Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, when he has done so well in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.

A day earlier he had re-tweeted a message claiming that Fauci had misled the public. When asked about the tweet, he told the press conference: "I get along with him very well and I agree with a lot of what he's said."

随后特朗普将话题转移到了支持率上，他在发布会上说，“真的很有意思，福奇得到了很高的支持率，我很开心，这很好。记住，福奇是在为本届政府工作，和我们一起并肩作战。我们可以找其他人。不一定非得是福奇博士。”并质疑道，“为什么和我们紧密合作的福奇和伯克斯博士有那么高的支持率，而没有人喜欢我呢？”

他自问自答道，“只能是因为我的个性了，就这样吧。”

"It’s interesting. He's got a very good approval rating, and I like that. It's good," Trump said during the press briefing. "Because, remember, he's working for this administration. He's working with us. We could've gotten other people. We could've gotten somebody else. It didn't have to be Dr. Fauci. He's working with our administration, and for the most part, we've done pretty much what he and others ... recommended."

Trump continued, " So it sort of is curious, a man works for us, with us, very closely, Dr. Fauci, and Dr. Birx, also very highly thought of, and yet, they're highly thought of, but nobody likes me?"

"It can only be my personality, that's all," said Trump.

此外，特朗普像是忘记了之前他对福奇博士的一切言论攻击。他表示在处理新冠肺炎疫情方面，他在很大程度上是按照福奇和其他专家的建议在做事情的。随后他又开始老调重弹地列举出自己的抗疫功绩，鼓吹自己政府增加了口罩、防护服、呼吸机及其他设备的生产，并强调了美国正在进行大规模新冠病毒检测。

颇具讽刺的是，艾美奖再次证实了福奇博士比特朗普更受欢迎。同一天，2020艾美奖提名出炉，布拉德·皮特因4月在一档节目中扮演福奇而上榜，获得艾美奖最佳客座男演员提名。

Ironically, the Emmy nominee once again confirmed that Dr. Fauci is more popular than Trump. During the Emmy nominations on Tuesday, Brad Pitt was singled out for his brief appearance as Dr. Fauci on an episode of Live in April.

事出必有因，当日发布会上的讲话也表明了一切，没人喜欢“爱撒谎的孩子”。

在新闻发布会上，特朗普除了对福奇的高支持率表示嫉妒之外，还说了更多令人大跌眼镜的话。他表示美国大部分地区没有新冠病毒，一些疫情较严重的地区也在逐渐好转。然而，就在特朗普发表上述言论的当天，美国累计报告新冠肺炎病例数已突破430万，其中佛州、加州、北卡罗来纳州等多地的病例数依旧持续激增。

At the White House press conference, in addition to the remarks involving Fauci's high approval rate, Trump claimed that "you can look at large portions of our country – it’s corona-free." 

However, on the day Trump made these remarks, the cumulative number of reported cases of COVID-19 in the U. S. exceeded 4.3 million.

特朗普这一言论引发了众网友的质疑。

“你是说那些没人住的地区吗？”

“不可思议，居然还有人会相信他。”

有网友直接用美国感染地区分布图来表示讽刺：

“太太太没有新冠病毒啦！”

更有许多网友调侃道：

“确实，在五大湖、大峡谷、死亡谷都没有病毒。”

“也许特朗普指的是啤酒（科罗娜）供应，他很容易混淆!”

因此事再次上了热搜的“玻璃心”特朗普还特意发了一则推文回应：

“推特的热搜太令人恶心了，有那么多关于我的热搜，但没有一条说我好的。他们将一切可以找到的东西进行丑化，然后将其引爆，让它成为头条。这真的荒唐至极，不合法并且不公平！”
